Top Casino Games in Europe: Which Titles Appear Across the Most Countries?

A game that dominates online casinos in one European country may barely register in another. In fact, only two casino games manage to appear in the top 30 by brand coverage—the share of tracked brands offering each title—across six key markets: the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. This article explores which online casino games boast the widest brand coverage, how their availability varies by country, and which providers appear most often. Play’n GO, the supplier behind the only two titles that reach all six markets, offers its perspective on the findings.

How Online Casino Games Are Compared Across Six Countries

The data, extracted from Blask on 24 August 2026, uses brand coverage as the ranking metric—meaning games are ranked by the percentage of tracked brands that offer each title. The number of tracked brands varies by country:

For this reason, percentages are far more useful than raw numbers when comparing games across markets. For example, a game offered by 40 brands in Italy (out of 79 tracked) represents a much wider market share than the same 40 brands in Germany (out of 249 tracked).

Additionally, Blask’s data does not only cover locally licensed operators. In regulated countries, it distinguishes between brands with a local license and international brands operating without one. In countries without a regulated online casino market, all brands are treated as international by default. This is crucial for two countries in this comparison:

Andrew Pink, Head of Brand and Communication at Play’n GO, commented on why the same game can show such different coverage across European markets. He told European Gaming: “When comparing coverage figures across European markets, it’s important to understand exactly what is being measured. Visibility estimates do not always reflect actual regulated market activity, particularly in jurisdictions with very different regulatory structures. For operators, suppliers, and media alike, robust and transparent data remains critical to ensuring that market comparisons are meaningful and accurately reflect reality. Play’n GO derives no revenue from France as France has no regulated iGaming market.”

Only two games appear in every national top 30 across all six countries: Book of Dead and Legacy of Dead, both from Play’n GO. Their reach is notably broad:

Book of Dead ranks:

Legacy of Dead also appears in all six countries, though it ranks lower in most:

Pink attributed this widespread success to player familiarity and long-standing supplier relationships: “Book of Dead and Legacy of Dead have earned their place through a combination of strong player recognition, proven long-term performance, and the trust we’ve built with operators over many years. While trends come and go, operators continue to value content with a demonstrated ability to engage players sustainably across regulated markets.”

The number of games that reach at least four countries is still relatively small:

Big Bass Splash is a fascinating example of how a game’s position can vary dramatically by country. It ranks first in the UK, Germany, and Spain, but drops to seventh in the Netherlands, 10th in Italy, and doesn’t appear in France’s top 30 at all.

Which Providers Have the Strongest Online Casino Games Presence?

Across the six top-30 lists, Pragmatic Play appears 60 times, accounting for one-third of all ranked entries. Its games appear in every country:
