A Fond Farewell After 11+ Years

After more than 11 years with Calvin and CalvinAyre.com, it’s hard to say goodbye. I put this off until the last few hours, even enjoying a few Bombay Sapphires to help ease the moment. Still, after writing, deleting, and rewriting, the best I can say is that it’s been an incredible journey.

Gratitude to the Team

Before I sign off, I want to thank everyone I’ve had the privilege of working with. To the staff writers, past and present—Steven Stradbroke, Peter Amsel, Jamie Hinks, John Blaise, Erik Gibbs, Lee Davy, Kirby Garlitos, Jasmine Solana, Leonard Postrado, Paul Seaton, Dan Taylor, Derek Tonin, Criz Hombrebueno, Ed Drake, Lee Bell, Rafi Farber, Daniel Gardner, Paul How, Admir Aljic, Anton Fabico, Mike O’Donnell, Jason Kirk, and Vince Martin—you made every day memorable.

To our on-camera hosts, Becky Liggero-Fontana, Dana Workman, Angelia Ong, Ed Pownall, Stephanie Tower, and Tatjana Pasalic, thank you for bringing our stories to life. And to our excellent production team—Patrick Visenio, Jerome Guidotti, Rob Peacock, Ian Matteo, Glenn Ala, Chris Roxas, Geoff Salorio, Yancy Uy, Carol Tan, Evette Borromeo, Jeks Inanuran, Janus Martinez, Giselle Ordinario, Joseph Cataan, Sandy Ventosa, Carlos Dittborn, Mani Singh, Roland Naidoo—your creativity and dedication were inspiring.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you enjoyed working with me as much as I enjoyed working with you.

What’s Next

For a little while, I’ll be behind the scenes helping tie up loose ends. After that, I’m taking a much-needed staycation—time to rest and think about the next chapter. I’d love to stay connected. Feel free to reach out. You can find my details at http://billbeatty.net.

So long, farewell, Alvita Zane. Goodbye—or until next time.
