Premier League Preview – Gameweek #26: Key Clashes and Betting Tips

The English Premier League delivers another thrilling weekend of football. Top sides collide, relegation rivals battle for survival, and as always, there’s plenty of action for sports bettors. With a full fixture list across Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we’ve picked our winners and provided a tip for every game.

Saturday, 27th February

Leeds United vs. Aston Villa (5:30 PM GMT)

Two teams with a controversial history meet again—this time in the Premier League. A few years ago in the Championship, Leeds scored controversially and then failed to let Aston Villa equalize, sparking a memorable feud. Now both sides are enjoying solid top‑flight campaigns.

Aston Villa survived relegation by a whisker in 2019/20 but have since flourished under Dean Smith. With Jack Grealish, Ollie Watkins, and Bertrand Traoré, they boast some of the league’s most dangerous attackers. Leeds, meanwhile, look safe in their first season back, sitting well clear of the drop zone and eyeing mid‑table or even European contention alongside their hosts.

Expect an open, attacking contest at Elland Road. With Grealish sidelined for six weeks and Matty Cash also missing, Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison could be key—and at a tempting price. He’s our bet of the week.

Tip: Jack Harrison to score and Leeds to win (4/1)

Manchester City vs. West Ham United (12:30 PM GMT)

Tip: Manchester City to win and both teams to score (19/10)

West Bromwich Albion vs. Brighton & Hove Albion (3:00 PM GMT)

Tip: West Brom to win (17/5)

Newcastle United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers (8:00 PM GMT)

Tip: Both teams to score and draw (4/1)

Sunday, 28th February

Chelsea vs. Manchester United (4:30 PM GMT)

Last season Chelsea saw two goals correctly disallowed as United completed a league double. This term the sides have only met once—a dull 0‑0 draw at an empty Old Trafford. Now Thomas Tuchel experiences this unexpectedly fierce rivalry for the first time.

Tuchel’s Chelsea have found renewed confidence and defensive solidity, but goals remain scarce. United, by contrast, have been prolific up front (no team has scored more in domestic games) yet look vulnerable at the back—Newcastle carved them open several times. While Chelsea aren’t the league’s entertainers, they should cause United problems. We’re backing plenty of goals.

Tip: Over 3.5 goals (23/10)

Crystal Palace vs. Fulham (12:00 PM GMT)

Tip: Ademola Lookman to score at any time (3/1)

Leicester City vs. Arsenal (12:00 PM GMT)

Tip: Jamie Vardy to score at any time (11/8)

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Burnley (2:00 PM GMT)

Tip: Tottenham to win by 1 goal (5/2)

Sheffield United vs. Liverpool (7:15 PM GMT)

Tip: Both teams to score (19/20)

Monday, 1st March

Everton vs. Southampton (8:00 PM GMT)

Tip: Abdoulaye Doucouré to score at any time (8/1)
