NFL Partners with Midnite in Major UK & Ireland Sports Betting Deal Amid London Games Expansion
The Landmark Multi-Year Partnership
UK-based sports betting operator Midnite has secured a multi-year agreement to become the official sports betting partner of the National Football League (NFL) across the UK and Ireland. This strategic partnership grants the London-based challenger brand exclusive rights to integrate NFL content across multiple platforms including:
- Live broadcast integrations
- Digital content collaborations
- Free-to-play gaming products
- In-person fan engagement activations
Perfect Timing: NFL’s Growing UK Footprint
The announcement coincides perfectly with the 2026 NFL London Games, which kicked off this weekend at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where:
- Week 1 (October 9): Indianapolis Colts defeated Washington Commanders 30-13
- Week 2 (October 11): Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
- Week 3 (October 18): Jaguars vs. Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium
The league also plans to return to Dublin’s Croke Park after a successful 2025 debut, expanding its European footprint.
“With over 17 million NFL fans across the UK and Ireland, this partnership creates dozens of new engagement opportunities,” said Jonathan Shaw, Midnite’s VP of Growth.
What the Deal Includes
Midnite gains access to:
✅ All official NFL marks (including the Shield logo)
✅ Super Bowl branding rights
✅ Co-created content programs with NFL UK&I
✅ Player appearances and event integrations
“This gives us the platform to build our NFL presence through broadcast, content, free-to-play games, and live experiences,” Shaw added.
Midnite’s Aggressive Growth Strategy
This deal represents the latest move in Midnite’s rapid expansion, including:
- $35M Series C funding (January 2026)
- Sponsorships with four EFL Championship clubs
- Controversial but highly visible “Built Different” ad campaigns (ASA-banned ads actually boosted brand awareness)
- Plans to launch in the Canadian market
The company aims to become “the Monzo of sports betting” with possible billion-dollar valuation ambitions.
Why This Matters for Sports Betting
- Market Validation: First major European betting partner for NFL
- Audience Growth: Taps into NFL’s fastest-growing international market
- Innovation Play: Sets stage for unique betting/fan experience hybrids
As the NFL plants deeper roots in Europe through regular-season games, Midnite stands to benefit from being the league’s primary betting conduit for British and Irish fans.
